Mpg4 files found as DV

#1 Post by anotheruselesslogin »

I'm trying to recover a bunch of MPG4 files from an external drive that *sigh* was reformatted by a Panasonic TV. (PS - Panasonic engineers suck donkey balls for incorporating a feature this insidious. If the TV doesn't recognize the drive format, it automatically tries to reformat it into whatever crappy format Panasonic uses.) In order for my computer to even recognize that a hard drive was installed, I did a quick format. Now I'm trying to recover the MPG4 files, but in the recovery folders, I just get a bunch of DV files each containing about 1 second of one of my movies. The program hasn't finished running though. Will it bring them all together in the end?
