Re-accessing intact linux partition that lost boot partition

#1 Post by PhonicPhoton »

Hello my first post here.

I had a mishap that rewrote my partition table and screwed the boot-ability of a drive.

TestDisk first search found what I was looking for and enabled me to access the drive again. The Linux drive [Nova1104] has its file system intact, so with running kubuntu on USB drive it recognised the partition on sda and allowed me to back it up. The other partition is lost but there was no important info on it.

I'll be donating soon.
