The partition is much larger than 1Gig, it uses the whole disk.
I did not use TestDisk/ undelete to list my files. I did a deepsearch to list my files.
I did not have a try to copy some large files off to another disk/partitions.

Is there some more information I can provide that will help finding a solution to my problem?

The problem is, that TestDisk found no partition using the boot sector and the backup of the boot sector or anything else.
Would it be possible, that you try to copy 1 large file to another healty partition or disk?
If you list your files, on the upper side you'll see that 2 dots.
It's always recommended if testdisk lists your files to safe/backup them first!
If you check them and press enter, you'll get one directory up, until you come to the disk selection.
There, you can select another disk, partition, where you'd like to copy your data to.
Using the right arrow key on you keyboard, you even can enter any appropriate folder.
You'll find all the other commands to copy data, at the bottom of the copy menu!

After backup, it would be possible to recreate another partition exactliy like before, and trying to rebuild a boot sector to get all data recovered and visible.
It would be experimental, but already helped a lot.

Thanks again for your help Fiona.

I did and as you said and have copied all my files to another external HDD. Now that I have performed this backup process how should I proceed to repair the partition table?
