HI!
how can i use photorec to recover lost pictures on a PS3 hdd that wont start on my ps3?
i`Ve used a isb cable to connect the hdd to my laptop. but win 7 won`t find it.
but photorec did.
i`Ve startet photorec. and when its done the files that was stored in my pc was ( a .jsp file, 2 gpg file and a mplayer audio file, and a xml file named "report"
what are i supossed to do with those files?
i do not speak english good, but hope someone understand.

what is a gpg file?
i`Ve retrived som files from a ps3 hdd. but i only got 2 gpg files 1 12gb and one in 8gb.
i also got an mplayer aduio file and a .jsp. those are about 100kb.
but i don`t know what to do with the gpg files???
anyone?

The recovery has failed, the recovered files are false positive. The problem is that ps3 harddisk are encrypted.
It's possible to disable the encryption but you loose your data, I don't know if there is a way to decrypt a PS3 HDD...
