Undo Photorec changes

A Windows Update cause a good portion of my drive to go missing. In a panic I found PhotoRec and TestDisk. I admit I wasn't looking fully at the documentation and decided that PhotoRec was the way to go for recovery only seeing TestDisk as recovering the boot sector. It's been running for 2 day and is mostly completed and now noticing that TestDisk could have gotten me my file names which it a huge help. It was a media server so there are thousands of videos that with out a name I may never get back the right way. Is it possible to undo the changes from PhotoRec and run TestDisk instead?

I don't see much logging going on so my guess is no but it is worth asking with the time it will save me.

PhotoRec is not changing anything unless you decide to write files to the drive you are recovering from.
Read the manual!
