Am I out of luck?

#1 Post by iBison »

Laptop was dropped, when not running. This is what I am getting. When I scan the drive it shows the folders, but the documents and settings folder is empty. When I do a deep scan it fails before it completes. I on really need the files from the user account in D and S. It makes it through about 4% of a 500gb drive with some errors before it fails.

Read the forum roles above in reddish color:
- Give clear, specific information in the title of your post.

Other people are using the search function actively!

As for your question, my crystal ball is in repair so I can't answer it.

If you want answers, ask a specific question.

Your title is as bad as this one:
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=11253

Typically I don't answer such questions. You were lucky that your post has not been ignored.

The body of your request text is good.
