PhotoRec ecryptfs help

#1 Post by GeorgeTer07 »

Hello guys, I just used photo rec to try and recover the pictures and videos from my micro sd card. Some of the pictures and videos were recovered in jpg/mp4 form and I can open them but most of the files were recovered in a form called "ecryptfs". Can someone please help me open these pictures ? Do I need a different file extension to open them, or some kind of software ? Please help me.

No, because I don't know your password(s).

You don't need to select a different file extension when your desired files have been recovered.

I don't know.

Why should your computer password be the right one for your files on your micro SD card?
You are clearly hiding important information.
