Hello!
I'm trying to recover images and videos from an external ExFAT Hard drive (which works fine and is detected by Finder with no issues) but photorec and testdisk can't find it for some reason.
I am running photorec as root and works perfectly for my internal drive.

What can I do?

Can you run as root "./testdisk /dev/diskX" ? (Replace diskX by the correct device name)
Does it work ?
