The program stoped at the same file durig the recovery process.

Yesterday I started with the recovery process of my external hard drive. The first time I tried to recover all the files it got stuck and I restarted the process.
But the second time I set it to recover, left it overnight and it has recovered the same files as before.
And when it stops recovering, it launches a file called: "report.xml".
When I double click on it, it says: Carve Report PhotoRec 7.2-WIP GCC 11.2, Cygwin 3001.4 Windows Windows 8 (9200) Windows 8 (9200) DESKTOP-1GR6GSP x86_64 197609 2022-01-22T21:47:07+0100 \\.\PhysicalDrive2 512 TOSHIBA External USB 3.0 1000204883968 4096
While I was writing this thread the program stopped working and I got the initial screen to start the process.
I need urgent help, I have very important files on my hard drive that I have not recovered yet.
