Empty partition while two other tools show content?

#1 Post by Mrcs »

Hello :-)

I've used TestDisk before but now I'm lost. My father-in-law accidentally changed his usb RAID1 case's mode. Nothing was formatted but the drive(s) appear empty in the drive manager.

In two other programs it seems to be all there, but other than copy things to a new drive, they don't seem to be able to restore the drive/partition: Image

In testdisk, I can press P but it'll show a rather empty drive with one folder and subfolder. I can't figure out what to do to restore the partition. Image

I would be thankful for any advice!

(Thanks for the quick reply! It's not a raid managed by Windows, but an external case (icy box ib-863a-b). 10 TB drives. Reading just one now. When a disk failed previously, the other disk was readable via another case or via SATA. Here's the log.)
