Photorec recover data from old hdd. Pausing and restoring pdfs

#1 Post by 0bArcane »

Hello, I'm currently running Phtotorec on a hdd I accidentally formatted with the WIndows Media Creation Tool.
1. Can I pause and resume the recovery? If so how do I quit the scan, Ctrl+C?
2. It found a bunch of .txt files that I think might be pdfs. Is there a fast way to restore the pdfs? I'm talking hundreds of files.
3. It found a lot of .mpg files, when played they either show nothing or maybe 1 frame or so. What are they?

Press the "return"-key.

That is what you claim.
