"Application not found" error when viewing recovered partition in Windows Explorer

Hi there
I recently accidentally deleted a partition on a data drive using the disk management tool in Windows 7.
I used testdisk to recover the partition, and now it appears in the Windows Explorer, showing the correct
disk space usage (about 1.2TB of a 2TB partition) but when I try to open it to view folders Windows throws
"Application not found".
My other drives open properly.
It is a primary partition, and the only partition on the physical disk. It mounts to E:, has the correct volume
name (same name it had before I accidentally deleted it) and is NTFS.
I have tried opening Disk Properties > Volumes > Populate, which made the volume appear on the properties
screen, but Windows Explorer is still confused.
Did I miss a step in testdisk?
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
