can "WRITE" command be undone?

Hello,

I was trying to fix my partition (the hdd had 2 partitions: F and G, one was working fine, the other one was corrupt) and recover files using Testdisk.
I tried to follow the instructions:

https://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk_Step_By_Step

After deep search the missing partition was showing in the partitions list so I used the "write" command believing it would "keep it" in windows.
After I restarted the computer, F and G were merged into partition D and there were no files at all, as it was formatted.

Please help.

There is no UNDO function for the write command.

You did not check the readibility of the found partition using the "p"-key as described in the link you provided.

You might rerun TestDisk and use this function to check which partitions contain reasonable content that you recognize.
