Does file undelete work with fatx/xbox partition?

#1 Post by RACKwAir »

Hello! Does file undelete work with fatx/xbox partition? Whenever I select an xbox 360 disk image (.img) and select Xbox partition in testdisk, when I press advanced filesystem utilities, it claims that there is "no partition available". I saw a post say earlier that file undelete does not work on xfat but I want to verify. Thank you.

I don't know what you mean by "fatx" or "xfat".

In Filesystems at the bottom of the link, there is "XBox FATX". Which is the partition for the Xbox 360.

However I just saw this, "Undelete files from FAT, exFAT, NTFS and ext2 filesystem". So I guess this feature only works on 4 types of filesystems listed.
