I'm a new user. I need precise instructions on how to recover an .xlsx file I worked on two days ago; it's urgent.

Use PhotoRec. When PhotoRec is ready, open up the folder containing the results. Search for all ZIP-files. Rename them as .XLSX files. Select your candidates by looking at the date information in Windows Explorer. Try to open them by double-clicking them and see what this gives. If this fails, double-click the remaining files.
