lost data after diskpart clean command.

#1 Post by wojtazras »

Welcome to all on this forum :)

Politely please for a help. I cleared my external disk mistakenly when I used a windows Diskpart clean command on a wrong hdd. I found out that by doing this the first sector (MBR/Partition table) has been cleared. In result whole partition is unallocated. Still in hope that there's a way to recover precious data, I run testdisk, with search and deep search, which found 2 partitions, but with note that hdd seems too small, and the partitions can't be recovered. Now i stuck, because donno what to do next, I don't want to make more mess that i manage to do till now. MAybe someone kind could have look on log from testdisk I attached and tell me what can i do next.

my hdd is:
WESTERN DIGITAL WD My Book Essential 1TB Ext. 3.5" USB2.0, 16MB cache
