WIN XP SP3: Dynamic disk unreadable but boots from the disk

#1 Post by npsvcs » 29 Nov 2012, 21:03

Hi,
This is really strange but true. My 1TB dynamic disk is unreadable and I have lost all partitions. Still I can boot using this disk. I tried testdisk to recover partition but scared writing the MBR because of this situation.
This all started after I repaired the OS using WIN XP SP3 CD.
Can anyone give me some hints please?
Thanks
