I have a 1Tb Samsung M3 Portable HDD with a lot of important data that I need to finish a job.
Last night I left my notebook rendering a movie on the HDD at my office, then came a storm, today the HDD doesn't mount (I use Ubuntu). Windows 7 doesn't detect it either.
Using testdisk I get
Current partition structure:
Partition: Read error

I hit Enter on "Quick Search" but it takes forever.
Any suggestions. I'm getting desperate :/
Current partition structure: Partition: Read error Topic is solved

Re: Current partition structure: Partition: Read error
UPDATE:
It's been more than 10 hours. The quick search doesn't show any progress. The LED light on the external HDD keeps blinking.
