Failing hard drive after falling?

Hello! My MacBook fell about 3 feet onto a hardwood floor about a week ago while it was on. It didn't appear to damage it inside or out and was working fine. When I restarted it a couple of days later I noticed it making a weird kind of dragging noise while it was starting, but it came on, the noise stopped and seemed to be working fine. Later it seemed slow so I used Disk Utility on it quite a few times over several days. A couple of days ago I had restarted it and went to use Disk Utility and the Hard drive name was in red and I got the error message the hard drive is failing. Is there any way to repair it? Would TestDisk help? It is working right now, but I'm concerned it could stop any minute. Could it just be loose from the fall? Any suggestions appreciated!!!
