#1 Post by ssquma » 28 Jun 2013, 00:45

That such.
My problem is this, try to do a clean install of Fedora 18 on my laptop, previously had Fedora 14, to reach the section where the hard drive is partitioned did as follows.

/ 23 GB
swap 3.99 GB

but when starting the installation an error happened, and the installation was interrupted. When I tried to restart the installation the / home partition has no file system (previously had EXT4 file), what I did was re-install fedora 14 to use testdisk, but the program throws me the following message:

Reinstall fedora 14 and used testdisk tool, then the analysis values throws me attached pictures.

Someone could help me to recover my files on the / home partition.

Select the first Linux partition and use 'P' to list its files. Try the same using the second one.
If you see the files from your /home, set this partition as P(rimary) if it isn't already the case and choose to Write the new partition table.
