Undelete text files with .log and .out extensions (NTFS)
I was using Ubuntu and did "rm -rf *" on a directory that contains text files with .log and .out extensions on an external hard drive that has NTFS. Looking through http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/File_For ... y_PhotoRec, it seems like it may not recover these .log and .out files. How do make TestDisk find these files?

Two possibilities:
- Use TestDisk to undelete the file properly: http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/Undelete ... h_TestDisk
- Use txt file family in PhotoRec. Be careful to store the recovered files on another partition.
