Hello Guys,
I am new so please be nice to me ! i am not as computer expert as you guys are so take it slow
Issue:
I am running into a problem Error Message:“Can’t Read From the Source File or Disk” Error
My Server has 11 hard drives and some of them are full so i was trying to copy some files on this computer and ended up getting this odd error message and i googleed it and bla bla bla but no definite answer on how to fix so someone told me to use CBD(Copy Bad Disk) but that is a paid software so i looked up alternative and found check disk. i dont know how to use it so in checkdesk site under download live cd there was an option to use hirens boot cd which i have so under dos i am not able to find it so i went with hard drive tool and selected one software that said repair bad sector
I would like to get my data off this 1TB drive so i can RMA it if it is still under warranty.
Can someone please advise
Thank you

You can use GNU ddrescue http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/Damaged_Hard_Disk to clone your disk, it's a free/opensource software.
