Hello,
my 16 GB micro SD card stopped working. Camera tells me to format it and the PC just shows a removable disk, but when I click on it, nothing happens.
I tried TestDisk. After about 5 minutes it gives me the option to select:
Disk /dev/sdd - 16 GB / 14 Gib - Generic USB SD Reader
I selected "None" as the partition table type
Then I used the "Advanced" menu and selected FAT32 as partition type
Because there was no "List"menu, I selected "Rebuild BS" in the Boot menu.
Unfortunately nothing is happening now (more than 2 hours).
It would be great, if someone could help me with this.

Re: micro sd card not working
I think your memory card is physically damaged. To recover some data, using TestDisk, use Image Creation in the Advanced Menu. It will create a image.dd file. With the file explorer, select this file and open it using PhotoRec (Right click "Open with", select PhotoRec)

Re: micro sd card not working
Thank you very much.
When I used the "Intel" option, TestDrive says "No Partition" and I can only quit.
Now I used "None" and set the type to FAT32.
Is that OK?

Re: micro sd card not working
It took 8 hours to create the image file and it resulted in an 0 kb file.
TestDisk said, that there had been some read errors during image creation.
