I am running PhotoRec and it is doing a great job at recovering intact JPEGs. The problem is the ones that are partially corrupt. When I am looking in the folder that they are going in, they pop in at full resolution, with metadata from the camera and everything, but you can see a couple of lines on the bottom are missing/black/purple/pink/green whatever. and then they disappear, some times they are gone for ever, sometimes they end up as either a 160x120 px or 120x160 px thumbnail.
How can I have it keep the damaged files, so I can then just crop them in photoshop or paint or whatever and still get most of the picture.
Please help.

Re: slightly corrupted JPEGs not recovered
In Options, enable Keep Corrupted Files. You can also try the brute force mode (same menu), note that it's very time consuming.
