Accidental DD of ntfs disk

#1 Post by LinDyChoy » 14 Nov 2013, 10:02

Hi,

I accidentally DDed ~1.5gb to a start of NTFS disk. TestDisk can see old partition and list of files after quick search. I tried to copy few random files to different disk and it works. What would be the best way to recover from this situation? I'd rather not copy all files away (more than 1TB). Is it possible to fix this?

Thank you
