I have a usb hard drive that was not being recognized by my computer. After using testdisk, I am able to access my hard drive, but the directory and file structure is totally different, with folder names such as Julie Pug and files that I do not recognize. I this normal, or some form of malware/virus?
thanks,
Strange directory tree

Re: Strange directory tree
I'd need some information from testdisk / Analyse / Quick and if noting is found, Deeper Search also.
Can you repeat your diagnose and in your testdisk folder you'll find a file called testdisk.log.
Can you copy and paste the conent into your next post?
