#1 Post by chirathalwis »

I want to create my own custom signature file. Since i am new to photorec i have been following a blog. When i use the same steps i cant find "fidentify_static" & ".photec.sig" file. Where these files are located at? Or is there any easy way to create a custom signature file? Please note that i am new to photorec.

Depending of your os, the executable may be named fidentify, fidentify_static or fidentify_win.
For the location of the signature file, please read http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/Add_your ... o_PhotoRec
