]Ok
So not the cleverest thing,
I used a tool to change by External HDD from NTFS to Fat32 (to attach to the PS3)
Halfway through it complained about a bad sector and crashed.
I've used a trail version of freemium software and can see all my files are there (Movies, Photos etc)
I've run TestDisk (which has taken over 9hours) to do a DeeperSearch
[attachment=0]TestDiskScanning.JPG[/attachment
I've used TestDisk before when I changing Partions, but never for a recovery of this nature
Obviously I should wait for it to complete, however thought I'd get the ball rolling here, in case there is a FAQ/How To, to follow.
Thanks

Re: Swapping from NTFS to Fat32, Program Crashed...
here are the rest of the photos
I've been using Piriform Recuva to recover files
All handily named 0001.avi, 0002.avi (500+files)
Here are the completed photos from the scan, not sure what it all means
What do I do next.
Can I recover the single NTFS partition with the data, or has some of it been lost/renamed as above?
if so what's the best action next
Thanks
