Moving Data During Recovery

#1 Post by bvybvy »

Hello. I downloaded PhotoRec and it's working much better than I expected. It's quickly filling up the hard drive I designated with recovered files, and it's going to run out of space. I've paused the recovery.

My question: Can I pause the recovery and move the older folders named to another drive to reclaim space? And then resume recovery?

It looks like it builds the folders sequentially, and that as long as I don't move the one(s) currently in use, that this should work.

Thank you. And thank you for this great software...
