Dear All,
I have a compact flash card from my photo camera which is not readable anymore. I am using TestDisk and PhotoRec to recover the jpeg files.
After some scanning, PhotoRec can detect an unknown partition. I am an absolute beginner in data recovery procedures, but it looks to me that some data are in the card which can potentiallu be recovered (see image 1).
Afer I do the search and the recovery step, the outcome is unfortunately negative as the recovered files are zero! (see image 2)
I attach you a couple of images of PhotoRec as you can help me with that in understanding what is going wrong and how I can go ahead
Many thanks in advance for your help,
Agostino

Re: PhotoRec Help: Partition unknown - Zero Recovery
Can you run TestDisk on this memory card, partition type: None, Advanced, Image Creation.
A file named image.dd will be created. Please compress it (ie. as .zip). What is its size ?
