Hi,
I successfully recovered mp3 files using photorec.
There are also some m4a files I lost and wish recover, but I can not find the m4a file extention in [File Opt]...
Thanks in advance.

Re: .m4a recovery
m4a/mp4/... are handled by the mov file family.
Re: .m4a recovery
It did not work. It found some corrupted mov files and some mp4s.
i also discovered that most of the mp3 it recovered are just fragments.
When I was experimenting with testdisk I run T changetype on the partition. I think it (me) distroyed everyting at that point.

Changing the type of a partition inside TestDisk does not write anything on the disk.
