Can't find .py extention in the list of available extensions

Hi there

I was looking around a lot of resources and found an information that Photorec is an amazing tool for recovering missing .py files, but after running of PhotoRec I can find only .pyc extension, but no .py.

Do I need to configure PhotoRec or what is the expected behavior?

Thanks

I'm going to recover original Python files with .py extension, but using PhotoRec I can check extension for Python binaries(.pyc).

fidentify told me that .py extension is known for it, but how to restore files with this extension via PhotoRec I can't find...

Python source files are text files with a .py extension.
As written previously, you need to have the txt and tx? file families enabled in File Options to recover them.
