I accidentally started to format my hard disk of 1TB, that was formatted as ntfs, with FAT32 format. When I saw what I did I stopped formation and get the HDD out of computer. Now when I get in Gparted it show me that there are files on HDD but when I go to file manager to access them I get some strange thing (2nd picture).. I tried testdisk and searched for partitions (quick and deep) and the only thing testdisk found was that one broken partition.
Now, I know about photorec but I still have hope that testdisk will help me.

This is how gparted see my HDD:

And this is problem that I get in file manager:

What should I do?
Thank you!

Try testdisk, advanced, force the type to ntfs, boot, rebuildbs, list. if you can see your files, choose Write, confirm, Quit and restart your computer.
I it doesn't work, please post the testdisk.log file content.

I got this after I selected NPFS - NTFS partition type and selected boot option:

Am I doing it right? I'm afraid that I'll lose all files after I hit "Rebuild BS".
Please help.

If you can't see your files, do not choose Write so nothing will be modified on the disk. This is no risk this way.
