I am using Photorec 7.1-WIP on Ubuntu 16. I am able to recover xlsx files from my failing SATA hard drive but the Modified data always just shows today's date (when the file was recovered). Other file types such as xls show the correct Modified date. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks.

xlsx are zip archive. If the date/time of the file inside the archive isn't set, PhotoRec can not set the date/time of the xlsx file.
