Conflict between partitions

#1 Post by dalgacik » 09 Jan 2018, 07:42

Hi, my external disk got corrupt, and I'm getting a "conflict between partitions" error. With TestDisk, I am able to recover the files by copying them to another drive. However, I do not have a available space, so it would be great if I could fix the partition problem, and bring the drive to a working condition back. Is there a way to do this with TestDisk? Below is a screenshot I get from TestDisk when I select "Analyse". Thanks in advance!

Thanks so much in advance for your help!

I am running testdisk from a virtualbox, so I could not directly transfer the log file. Instead, I took a sequence of screenshots for the entire log file. ... 2VsG-tK7t/

please click on the down arrow icon on the right top corner to download the zip file ( . It contains only pngs of the screenshots. I appreciate your patience.
