No files to undelete, HDD not working in WINDOWS

#1 Post by uross » 02 Feb 2018, 10:46

Hi,
I have one specific problem.
MY hdd WD not recognised anymore in WINDOWS
1. I have installed LINUX LIVE rescue disk with testdisk 6.11
2. I am able to see the disk in testdisk, all boot sectors are ok, MFT repaired, still not recognised in windows...windows always ask me to FORMAT the disk...
3. Back in testdisk, when I try to undelete files I get message No files to undelete.
4. I tried to list files, ALL OK, tried to copy files - ALL OK, all files transfer OK BUT
main problem comes here
5. When I try to copy all files it only copy files which are listed on the first screen, I DO NOT SEE all folders from the disk, I can not change page, list other pages, list other folders and files....
Any suggestion on this how to get display ALL files from disk?
Any other shourtcut to display all files or copy all ( a: doesn't copy all files/folders from disk, only that one that are displayed on screen

Any idea would help me to save files as seems WD is almost dead... :? :?

Try TestDisk 7.1-WIP, maybe you will get better results
