HFS Plus drive invalid B-tree node, likelihood of partition repair?

Hi there, I have a friend's SSD from their Macbook Air that's died. The drive is recognised but the main Macintosh HD partition is not browseable. fsck.hfsplus reports an invalid B-tree node size. TestDisk finds two small partitions rather than one large one. Looking around at others with similar problems I'm still unsure if there would be hope of recovering the partition in this type of situation, or if it'll be a matter of generic data recovery, e.g. PhotoRec. Any thoughts?

The likehood of filesystem repair is very low. You can use PhotoRec but it will not recover the original filenames...

Thanks, thought that would probably be the case.
