I accidentally formatted a 3Tb ext4 drive with fat32. I caught myself before it finished, and I cant access anything on the drive. I unmounted it. I am running testdisk to see if it can find any superblocks. What is the best way to proceed?

Unless your ext4 partition has been deleted and a FAT32 partition has been created and formated at at different location, testdisk should be able to find backup superblocks.
In this case, it will be possible to use fsck.ext4 to repair the filesystem.
