My WD Mybook 2 TB ext HDD started getting read errors and was able to work till a few days after running chkdsk.
However, now Windows is treating it as a RaW file. I ran testdsk, on analyse it showed the partition(one partition, no boot) and data size correctly. However, on deeper search, it showed a lot of read errors and I am unable to list the filesystem contents. Attached are the screenshots, any idea on how to repair.

But it's only a message that this partition is not recoverable.
If you confirm with enter you'll get the results.
Did TestDisk find any partition?
If you experience some read errors and TestDisk hangs, you can try to list your files using the menu Advanced / Boot.

Analyse did find the partition.

However, Advanced does not find a partition so could not list details.

Analyse is your current partition table.
If there is no partition in your partition table, then "Advanced" doesn't diplay any partition either where you can make a boot sector diagnose from.
It easily means your partition table is empty or not available.
But if your partition is listed green colored, means that Quick Search already found your partition.

So your partition is recoverable.
Easily press at this screen enter to proceed.
Mark write and press enter and y to confirm.
Close TestDisk using Quit.
Restart your PC that changes take effect.

Did that, and post reboot checked the advanced option to list but still maintains filesystem is corrupt. I had run advanced analyse again and this time it give different results, not sure if it helps troubleshoot.

Can anyone help? I need to send the disk back for replacement but was hoping if the filesystem repair can help me recover my data before I send it it. I have recovered around 30% of the data using photo recovery tool.
