Hello,

I'm using photorec 7.0 to recover some files off of an old laptop drive that windows won't recognize. It's going well so far, but some files that I know were .avi files are coming back as a series of .jpg files. I saw 1 topic about this from 2012 when I searched but there was no resolution. Any ideas?

Can you try with PhotoRec 7.1-WIP ? If you still have the problem, disable jpg in FileOpts.
