problem in deleting restored files

#1 Post by whattheheck » 12 Apr 2019, 17:01

i cant find this topic but surely it already there somewhere.

after I delete the recovered files - btw thanks I find the file i was looking for! - I got a new problem, should be clear from this:

/dev/sda3 377G 357G 688M 100% /

infact I find nothing in the trashbin even if the files should be there, instead they simply disappear and now clearly there is some strange stuff (btw the recoveded files that dont delete correctly where something like 50GB so should be 327G used now...)

You can use "sudo chown -R user:group recup_dir.*" with user and group replaced by the value returned by "id" to change the owner of the recovered files and delete them more easily.
