I have a Canon G11 whose SD card was was formatted my mistake. I used PhotoRec to retrieve most of the pictures and movies on the card, but about 25% of the pictures are thumbnails and not the full size image. Is this normal? Is there something I can do to get the full size image back and reduce the number of thumbnails?
Thanks for the great software!

Re: Thumbnails instead of images
I am trying to recover camera photos from a 32GB SD card. I recovered 214 full but another 302 were thumbnail size 160x120 they should all be 4320x3240. Anything to try to get these back? The sd card shows up as unformatted in camera and computer.

Re: Thumbnails instead of images
The thumbnails should be listed with a filename beginning by 't'.
Try [Whole] instead of [Free] when searching for your files.
If your files were fragmented (ie. several times you delete some pictures and take others) before deletion, it may be nearly impossible to recover them.
