Resume Session

Hi,

I accidentally stopped an 80h+ file recovery session with Photorec.

In order to resume, I opted for the same file extensions and working directory. Now, the session is apparently starting from scratch instead of skipping previously scanned sectors. Before starting this new session I backed up both .se2 and .ses files.

Would anyone point me into the right direction? Thanks in advance.

To resume the session, you need to answer that you want to resume the session when PhotoRec starts and select the destination. Nothing more.
As you haven't choose to resume the session, restore the photorec.se2 file as photorec.ses, start PhotoRec and choose to resume the session.

Photorec (7.2-WIP) won't ask me if I want to resume upon working directory selection.

Tried a workaround by stopping recovery, replacing the file, and then answer Resume but the behavior is the same (starting from scratch).

Could these files be damaged as the previous session was interrupted by power disruption?
