I am trying to recover hard drive from an HP laptop about 6 years old. I am not a complete idiot, but I am not sure what my next step is. I have the the hard drive attached to a SATA hard drive adapter attached to my home computer. My computer does not see the hard drive, but when I run the program it shows the info. I have the partition and mirrored.
Maybe on second thought I am complete idiot and I am over my head.

Re: System recovery
Run TestDisk, Advanced, select the partition, Boot, List and if it works, copy your files.
