Hello everybody,

Before posting I tried some procedures and commands found here and in the docs, but I am still facing the problem: I have a Windows10 bootable internal drive, that I connect as external drive by USB adapter for trying to recover the datas.
Disk seems damaged, and here are the steps I already did :

First, it was impossible to apply the ddrescue command and cloning the drive: at 40MB, I have errors until the process of cloning reach 100%, while the damaged internal drive is 750 GB.

Here the GParted output of /dev/sdb:

1) Analysis main screen:

2) After a QuickSearch:

3) Listing the files of the bootable partition:

3b) Listing the files of the (unnamed) main partition:

4) Then, I tried a DeepSearched, but at 10% of scan, my HDD sounded "clic-clic" and unmount itself.

4b) End of the DeepSearch scan:

5) In advanced mode, I have the shown output:

6) I finally tried photorec, but nothing can be retrieved:

Before trying to use testdisk, I tried to mount the fix the problem with ntfsfix, but I feel it did nothing.

Do you think that my problem can be handled and that it's possible to recover datas on the drive ?
Thank you for helping :)

As ddrescue failed to clone your disk, your disk has probably a damaged head or a similar physical problem.
You should contact a data recovery company.
