Message 'No swap space!' and photorec stops.

When recovering a partition, I get the message 'No swap space!' and photorec stops.

I have used photorec successfully to recover the 'OS' partition of the source HDD. This error occurs only on the 'DATA' partition of the same HDD. The error occurs after copying 1.09GB of files. Repeating the recover always results in the same 1.09GB of files (exactly the same files are recovered each time)

The original DATA partition's size is 500GB.
I have increased the destination partition to 1.4TB but I am still unable to recover any more than the same 1.09GB of files.

I am now analysing the source HDD with testdisk and awaiting completion.

Thank you.

What program returns the message "No swap space!" ?
Please use latest 7.2-WIP.
Did you had this error with testdisk or photorec ?
If you are using testdisk, Advanced, List to copy files, hide the deleted files, before starting the copy.

Check the free space on the different volumes on your windows machine.
Are you recovering stuff onto your system volume?

Thanks, recuperation! I was recovering stuff onto the USB drive. There was plenty of space.

Anyway, I solved the problem by changing some of the options:
- No Brute force
- expert mode to set file system block size and offset (I chose the default options)
- Enable Low Memory

I don't know which one of this helped, but I managed to recover my files.

Thank you Christophe! I'm donating to the project.
