File gap

Hi there,

I hope you can help me. I've been using photorec for some time now and with great success, it's an incredible tool!

In short, the questions that is bringing me here is that I'm not being able to recover files of an sd card from a certain period of time. Photorec recovers images that go ...

Re: Photorec "didn't" recover "all" files

Hi recuperation,

Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate it, but the toxicity levels on your side are unbelievable.

You clearly misunderstood what I wrote overall, didn't understand the issues and believe I came from a bad place to this all. I was actually writing a full reply but figured out ...

Re: Photorec "didn't" recover "all" files

Hi recuperation,

Thank you.

"Different concept, different results. Not comparable."

Not sure I understand, I'm sorry. In what way? And then how can I recover the rest of the files detected by disk drill from the memory card (that is actually empty).

"Totally logical depending on the content ...

Photorec "didn't" recover "all" files

Hi again,

And I'm really sorry for bothering.

I ran Disk Drill to understand what's in a memory card I have and recover a few files. I then ran PhotoRec to recover the files. Unfortunately, even after selecting the whole partition, Photorec did not recover all files that Disk Drill had detected ...

Photorec ejects SanDisk

Hi there,

I'm using Photorec to recover files from a memory card but whenever I ran the program it ejects the card after a few seconds. What is happening? Can you help me?

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,

Re: Missing files

Hi recuperation,

These are not great news then. Do you think it's possible to recover these files from before they were .chk type rules? Because I believe these are the one's I'm looking for.

Re: Missing files

Hi recuperation,

I understand your position but I would like you to reconsider it as I have have fantastic news.

I was able to find the files as .chk type files and I now wish to recover them. Would this be something testdisk or photorec would help me do?

Very best,
Hollow

Re: Missing files

I'm sorry but I didn't understand what you meant, recuperation. Can you please clarify?

In the meanwhile, I tried recovering the files but many of them are red lined. What does it mean? Is there any way to recover these red lines files? I also don't understand the dates displayed in the file ...
