I'm back, and I'm going to try advanced -> Boot -> List -> copy files
Don't forget to change sector size to 512...
Advanced: doesn't show boot option, but shows type option
Type: EFI and NTFS...
Boot: both sectors are bad, maybe I should do RebuildBS but I don't have any good drives to backup to ...

...another write error, and nothing's changed. I'm somehow in a worse situation than when I had the previous E: and F: drives...
One thing I noticed was that the analyse always paused a bit at cylinder 13 before give me the analyse messages.
Should I just give up and use PhotoRec?

augh, the E: drive is different this time it's 800MB, and there is no F: drive

Same raw partition again, hmm...
What if I try the GPT write with sector size 512 again? and if the inaccessible E: and F: drives come up again I try intel on E: with the adjusted sector size?

Testdisk exited safely Disk Manager still says RAW, so I'll try restarting my computer this time

I set the EFI Partition to boot and the recovery partition to Primary
A brief online search suggests that the recovery partition is primary in the first place
on another note, setting the recovery to logical and the main partition to primary is bad infastructure
Let's see how it writes...
