Re: TestDisk scan: unable to write partition table
New log
I think that's an easy fix unless you're seeing something that I'm not?
When I look in Acronis disk director it still shows my "Storage Data A" label so it just lost the drive letter and has unallocated space after my data (2GB worth)I think that's an easy fix unless you're seeing something that I'm not?

Re: TestDisk scan: unable to write partition table
Okay, I fallowed your instructions and rebooted so now I have my D: drive back which hosts my "My Documents" folder enabling "windows explorer" to function again (good thing I had Adobe Bridge to get me by navigating my system and network for the time being).
On reboot however I'm missing my H ...

Re: TestDisk scan: unable to write partition table
Hello, I can't update to 7.1 because I can't afford internet at the moment, I have very little mobile data in which to upload this file. Please find a new quick search and deep search log attached.

Re: TestDisk scan: unable to write partition table
Okay I'm not quite sure how to do that; I can't recall what size they were to begin with in order to reformat. I'm trying to resize in test disk like you said in option two and I get here. I arbitrarily reduced the size from 7423628 (or what ever it was exactly) to 6423628 thinking that would be ...

Re: Broke a mirror, used disks individually, computer died, now can't access either disk
Have you been using the disks 'separately' for long? If the mirrored data on one disk is mostly complete keep that one for your backup and use one disk to test. It might have been better to remove one array disk and replace it with a larger disk, this would allow the active controller to rebuild the ...

Re: 8GB Memory card shows as RAW
When you Analyze / scan for partitions, are you able to view any files? (Press p to view partition contents)
If your file structure is empty and photo rec is empty there's a good chance your information is gone, TestDisk is able to view partitions and files of "unmounted/uninitialized" disks, never ...

Re: TestDisk scan: unable to write partition table
Hello cgreiner,
Yes I just updated versions hoping it would write it correctly.
I think you probably got that information from the log file? Perhaps it's just a virtual partition, every time I went to write the partition it failed. It's possible on that log file I analyzed a few times and ...
