We'll it's just finished..
and this is the result :
Disk /dev/sdb - 1000 GB / 931 GiB - CHS 121601 255 63
Check the harddisk size: HD jumpers settings, BIOS detection...
The harddisk (1000 GB / 931 GiB) seems too small! (< 1965 GB / 1830 GiB)
The following partitions can't be recovered:
MS Data ...
and this is the result :

Anyone any ideas how to proceed ?
I've left it doing a deep scan all day, As yet it's still going but should be finishing in the next hour.
Once it has.... I've no idea what to do.
All I want to do is make it so the disk is visible to Linux or Windows, so I can copy my data off..
Please help

Yesterday my Western Digital My World Book White Light NAS Drive stopped working.
This has a single 1TB Disk.
At first I started getting the following error:
Volume Status - Volume 'DataVolume' doesn't exist
Then the NAS refused to boot.
So I've removed the disk from the NAS and connected it ...

NAS Drive failed - help please
My NAS Drive stopped working today.
Its a Western Digital my world book, white light 1TB single disk.
I've taken the disk out of the bay and connected it using a SATA to USB cable.
I've run test disk and its returned this :
Running Test Disk
Shows this for the drive:
Disk /dev/sdb - 1000 GB ...
